This last weekend, I was in St. Louis connecting with two churches working with the universities around them. In our conversations, people from both churches indicated that the university students they encountered had issues with the church. Both saw that as an opportunity to reach out to them, but were looking for a resource to help them do it. The start of the semester and Labor Day has come and gone. Students are settling into their new schedules. You and your leadership team are well on the way to reaching cruising altitude with the new class of freshman nearly formed. Worship is working. Small groups are starting. Now its time to start working your evangelism plan. Now its time to start thinking about reaching the dechurched.
